Weird News
In case you missed it, there is a great story about a three year old girl's "princess" party here. As they say in one of my favorite movies, "Raising Arizona", "It's a crazy world - someone should sell tickets - I'd buy one".
Just to list a few things that are so wrong about this party for a 3 year old... 1. they rented out a fraternal order hall. 2. 150 people! are you kidding me? but, that's why they had to rent out the hall, i guess. 3. there were beer bottles present.
of course, much more went wrong along the way, but it all started with those 3. what ever happened to a simple little party at a park for a 3 yo? i'm sure, before AND after the fight, the focus was on the little girl and making sure she enjoyed her special day.
I've been wondering what to do for Peanut's upcoming 2nd birthday. This seems like a definite option.
Ok, seriously: That poor birthday girl! This is going to require some therapy for her in the future. That's why it's good that my hubby is getting his degree in counseling. After Peanut's party ends in a drunken brawl, he will be able to therapize all of the people who attend.
Unless, of course, he starts it and is dragged away by the police.
